1 open notice
Plantation and afforestation work, nursery raising, felling and timber operations, eco-restoration, and wildlife and protected-area contracts.
These are the organisations with the most forestry & wildlife notices open in Global / multi-country right now. Buyers in this sector tend to repeat — following the few that award the work you do is usually more productive than watching the market as a whole.
Across the forestry & wildlife notices we currently hold for Global / multi-country, the most common form is the request for proposal. Each has its own rules — see RFP, RFQ and EOI compared and tendering procedures explained.
Forestry procurement is largely issued by state forest departments, forest development corporations and protected-area authorities, and follows a strong seasonal cycle — plantation tenders cluster ahead of the monsoon, felling and conversion work in the dry season. Contracts are commonly measured in hectares or in numbers of plants raised and maintained, with survival-rate obligations extending across two or three years after planting. Read the maintenance liability carefully: the cost of replacing casualties over the survival period is frequently larger than the planting itself.
Before committing effort, it is worth running a deliberate bid/no-bid decision and checking your submission against the responsiveness checklist.
