Rogaland fylkeskommune har behov for å få gjennomført prosjektet «Fv. 4848 Vormedalsvegen - sykkelveg med fortau - del 2» som omfatter bygging av en sammenhengende sykkelveg med fortau mellom Vormedal og Røysvegen. Prosjektet er en del av bompengepakken Bypakke for Haugesund og fastlands-Karmøy. Byggherre er Rogaland fylkeskommune, men det skal også utføres arbeid for Karmøy kommune - Vann og avløp og Karmøy kommune veg. Prosjektet er delt inn i tre delområder.
