Deze uitnodiging tot inschrijving betreft de aanbesteding van de verwerking van huishoudelijk Groente, Fruit en Tuinafval (GFT)  van circa 40 gemeenten. Coöperatieve Vereniging Midwaste Milieu U.A. (Midwaste) is de aanbestedende dienst en zal in het te vormen contract de Opdrachtgever zijn namens acht van haar leden en de circa 40 gemeenten die daarmee worden vertegenwoordigd. In totaal gaat het om circa 175kton aan huishoudelijk GFT per jaar. Het totale volume afval is verdeeld over 10 percelen waarvoor Midwaste meerdere verwerkers zoekt. De percelen kennen een initiële looptijd van circa 2-8 jaar met een tweetal verlengingsopties. De percelen kennen andere einddata. De aanbesteding maakt gebruik van een gunningsmethodiek van prijs en duurzaamheid in de vorm van CO2 equivalenten waar een fictieve waarde aan wordt toegekend. Overslag van het GFT en Transport naar de verwerkingslocatie maakt geen onderdeel uit van de opdracht.
