Fyresdal kommune har til hensikt å gje tilskot/anleggsbidrag til etablering av ny mobil basestasjon for å betre dekning og kapasitet i høgt prioriterte område, og medverke til trygge og robuste mobilløysingar for brukarar av mobiltenester. Utbygginga skal gje dekning i definerte område med manglande eller svak mobildekning, mellom anna langs Birtedalsvegen, Libjåområdet og andre område vist i kartvedlegg. Utbygginga skal også bidra til betre dekning og kapasitet i sentrale område for kommunale funksjonar, som rådhus, næringshage, skule, barnehage, pleie- og omsorgssenter og industriområde
