Helse Bergen HF har behov for å øke kapasiteten og driftssikkerheten i dagens vaskeri. Den eksisterende produksjonslinjen ble installert i 2010 og har over tid vært utsatt for betydelig slitasje. Vaskeriet har høy produksjon og er avhengig av stabil og forutsigbar drift. Det er derfor behov for å fornye og videreutvikle deler av produksjonslinjen, samtidig som eksisterende utstyr som fortsatt fungerer godt, skal kunne inngå i den fremtidige løsningen.
