Activities should be locally informed, place-based and responsive to the needs and priorities of the Hunter region.

- Skills, employment and workforce participation - Community leadership, coordination and partnership building - Community participation and locally led solutions - Innovation and adaptation Priority 3: Strengthening pathways into emerging industries – activities that support workers in the Hunter region affected by the energy transition to access secure, skilled and locally based employment opportunities in emerging industries. Activities should focus on leveraging transferable skills, supporting workforce planning and strengthening connections between workers, employers and education and training providers.
