About the Programmes
Vulnerable end users across Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland depend on natural-resource-based livelihoods that are increasingly exposed to climate-related risks, including floods, erratic rainfall, and shifting agro-climatic conditions. Farmers and community institutions across these geographies continue to face challenges in accessing appropriate technologies, renewable energy applications, and structured capacity-building support that can strengthen climate resilience. SELCO Foundation proposes to strengthen climate-resilient livelihoods across Assam and Nagaland by mentoring champion end users, documenting climate-resilient Packages of Practices, and demonstrating need-based energy-efficient solutions across relevant livelihood value chains. SELCO Foundation proposes to onboard an implementing partner who will mentor champion end users, build capacities of vulnerable end users, demonstrate appropriate technologies and renewable energy applications, and document field-level implementation for wider knowledge sharing. The selected organisation/individual will work closely with SELCO Foundation to strengthen community institutions and support the adoption of practical, replicable solutions across Assam, Nagaland, and the wider North Eastern Region.
