Call for partnerships - United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) seeks a not-for-profit implementation partner.

The rapid response facility (RRF) provides emergency support to natural world heritage sites in developing countries. The RRF is a grant facility specifically designed to provide rapid support to these sites of outstanding universal value when crises hit. Without a timely response in such situations, key elements of the natural sites, such as tracts of forest or some of the iconic species they support, could be lost forever.

The objective of this Call for partnership is to identify a partner to implement RRF activities by managing a grant portfolio of up to USD $240,000 for two years (with possible renewal for two more years), as follows:

Grant management, RRF performance, Communication, Administration/ Fundraising, Partnership

Estimated start of activities: end September 2026.

The Call for partnership (CFP) consists of this cover page and the attached Base document Form 7-20 including three annexes

Annex 1: UNESCO Partner Identification Form (to be filled out)

Annex 2: Budget Financial Proposal (Template to be filled out)

Annex 3: Implementation Partners’ Agreement (for information) .

Offerors are requested to acknowledge the receipt of this CFP and to indicate whether will be submitting a proposal. For this purpose, and for any requests for clarification, please contact [contact details removed] . UNESCO does not require any fees to participate in this Call.

Before you bid on this tender

A quick checklist to help you decide whether to bid and prepare a compliant submission for this real estate & facilities opportunity. Always verify the details on the official source.

  • Confirm the exact closing date and time (and time zone) on the official portal — deadlines are strict and can be revised by a corrigendum.
  • Read the full notice and every attached document, including the scope, specifications and any bill of quantities or terms of reference.
  • Check the eligibility criteria — prior similar experience, annual turnover, certifications and registrations — and make sure you qualify before investing effort.
  • Prepare any earnest-money deposit (EMD) or bid security and the required formats early; missing or wrongly-formatted documents are a common cause of rejection.
  • Note how bids must be submitted (online or physical), in what format, and whether a digital signature or portal registration is required.
  • Watch for corrigenda and clarifications right up to the deadline — requirements and dates can change.
