Die Informatikdienste der Universität Bern betreiben seit dem Jahr 2021 den Snow License Manager von Flexera als Software Asset Management Tool (kurz: SAM-Tool). Nun möchte die Universität Bern die Lizenzen um weitere drei Jahre verlängern und bittet entsprechende Handelspartner Angebote einzureichen. Die Laufzeit der Lizenzen dauert vom 01. Januar 2027 bis 31. Dezember 2029. Der Beschaffungsgegenstand umfasst die im beigefügten Anhang 1 – Preisblatt aufgeführten Produkte, namentlich «Snow Spend Optimizer - SAM», «Snow Spend Optimizer - SaaS» und «Data Intelligence Service» sowie optional «Flexera One IT Visibility with Technology Intelligence Platform». Über den Einsatz und die definitive Bestellung des optionalen Produkts wird erst im Laufe des Dezember 2026 entschieden. Im Sinne einer effizienten und fairen Evaluation haben sich die Anbieter zwingend an die Mengen gemäss dem beigefügten Preisblatt zu halten. Angebote, die davon abweichen, können vom weiteren Verfahren ausgeschlossen werden.
