Le projet EP18 Balerna prévoit une intervention globale d’entretien du tronçon autoroutier N02, compris entre la douane de Chiasso-Brogeda (km -0.100) et le viaduc de la Tana à Mendrisio (km 6.357). Le «Lot 202, travaux préparatoires en tant qu'entrepreneur en bâtiment» comprend la réalisation des ouvrages suivants : - aménagement de l’installation principale de chantier ; - réalisation de nouvelles batteries de tubes pour les tracés de câbles de la N2 ; - revêtement du terre-plein central de la N2 ; - réfection des revêtements bitumineux des giratoires de Bellavista et de Pontegana, au niveau de la jonction de Chiasso-Balerna. Principales quantités prévues : - démontage de glissières de sécurité : env. 440 m ; - fraisage et enlèvement de revêtements bitumineux : env. 900 t ; - caniveaux de drainage : env. 500 m ; - réalisation de nouveaux blocs de tubes pour les tracés de câbles : env. 970 m ; - grave non traitée : env. 1'800 m³ ; - exécution de la planie : env. 3'100 m² ; - fourniture et mise en œuvre d’enrobé bitumineux AC 8 H : env. 120 t ; - fourniture et mise en œuvre d’enrobé bitumineux AC B 22 H : env. 640 t ; - fourniture et mise en œuvre d’enrobé bitumineux AC T 22 H : env. 680 t ; - fourniture et mise en œuvre d’enrobé bitumineux MA 11 H : env. 25 t.
