Die Liegenschaften der Gemeinde Kaiseraugst sind mit mechanischen und mechatronischen Schliessanlagen ausgerüstet. Verschiedene Schliessanlagen haben ihren Lebenszyklus erreicht, zudem werden in diversen Teilprojekten Sanierungen geplant und ausgeführt. Für den Ersatz der bestehenden Schliessanlagen und für die Ausrüstung der Neubauten soll ein neues, für alle Liegenschaften der Einwohner- und Ortsbürgergemeinde zuständiges Schliesssystem beschafft werden. Als Ersatz ist ein Schliesssystem, kombiniert aus einer mechanischen Schliessanlage und einer elektronischen Zutrittskontrollanlage mit Zutrittslesern, elektronischen Türbeschlägen und elektronischen Digitalzylindern vorgesehen.
