Uppdraget omfattar leverans av en komplett lösning bestående av hårdvara, tillhörande service- och supportavtal samt timbank. Lösningen kommer användas inom koncernen Stiftelsen Högskolan i Jönköping som moderorganisation inklusive de sex helägda dotterbolagen: Hälsohögskolan, Högskolan för lärande och kommunikation, Jönköping International Business School, Tekniska Högskolan, Högskoleservice och Jönköping University Enterprise samt det delvis ägda bolaget Swedish Metal Casting Excellence Center (SMEC). Produkterna är utvalda för att passa in i Köparens befintliga infrastruktur. Högskolans datacenter består av två separata datahallar. Köparens servermiljö utgör en verksamhetskritisk del av den samlade IT-infrastrukturen inom Högskolan. Den befintliga infrastrukturen är uppbyggd och standardiserad utifrån specifika serverplattformar, administrativa verktyg, övervakningsfunktioner, reservdelshantering samt etablerade rutiner för drift, support och livscykelhantering. För att säkerställa fortsatt hög tillgänglighet, informationssäkerhet, prestanda och en kostnadseffektiv förvaltning krävs att de produkter som anskaffas är fullt kompatibla med den befintliga miljön. Av samma skäl behöver produkterna identifieras genom specifika artikelnummer. Artikelnumren används för att säkerställa att offererade produkter passar in i Köparens befintliga infrastruktur. Kravställningen bedöms därför vara nödvändig och proportionerlig för att tillgodose Köparens behov av en sammanhållen, säker och effektiv IT-miljö. Uppdraget ska genomföras i den omfattning och i enlighet med de krav och villkor som anges i upphandlingsdokumentet. Uppdragets innehåll och omfattning specificeras i upphandlingsdokumentets kravspecifikation samt i Bilagan Produktspecifikation.
