1.The Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Uganda Climate Smart Agricultural Transformation Project (UCSATP), and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for the Supply, delivery and stocking of eight dams with fingerlings under Lots 1,2,3&4 . 2.Ministry of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the supply, delivery and stocking of eight dams with fingerlings under four (4) Lots 1,2,3&4 as follows; Lot Number Contract description Total Quantities

I Restocking of ongunga dam in Katakwi District with 1,000,000, Elgon bulking centre in Butaleja District 900,000, Owiinya in Serere 420,000 and Agurut in Kumi District 80,000 tilapia fingerlings 2,400,000

2 Restocking of ongunga dam in Katakwi District with 600,000, Elgon bulking centre in Butaleja District 400,000, Owiinya in Serere 300,000 and Agurut in Kumi District 40,000 cat fish fingerlings 1,340,000

3 Restocking of Kaoyangor dam in Kotido District with 1,000,000, Ongole in Katakwi District 1,000,000, Nakonyen in Moroto 100,000 and Arechek dam in Napak District 1,000,000 tilapia fingerlings 3,100,000

4 Restocking of Kaoyangor dam in Kotido District with 700,000, Ongole in Katakwi District 600,000, Nakonyen in Moroto 20,000 and Arechek dam in Napak District 300,000 cat fish fingerlings 1,620,000

3.Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for Investments Project Financing (IPF )Borrowers “July 2016 , Revised in September, 2025 and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 4. Bids will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation process set out in the bidding documents. 5. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document during office hours from 0900 hours to 1700 hours (East African Time) at the address given below in 10. 6.The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested eligible Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of (Uganda Shillings Three Hundred Thousand only (300,000/=) . The method of payment will be through the Bank to Uganda Revenue Authority. The document will be sent by email. 7.Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 6th November,2026 at 1100 hours East African Time. Electronic Bidding will not be permitted. Late Bids will be rejected. The Bid envelopes will be publicly opened in the presence of the Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend, at the address below on 6th November , 2026 at 1110 hours East African Time . 8.All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security” of Uganda Shillings.

Lot 1: 27,000,000/= (Uganda shillings Twenty Seven Million only).

Lot 2: 15,000,000/= (Uganda shillings Fifteen Million only).

Lot 3: 34,000,000/= (Uganda shillings Thirty Four Million only).

Lot 4: 20,000,000/= (Uganda shillings Twenty Million only).

The Bid Security shall be valid in accordance with Section-II Bid Data Sheet; ITB 19.1 9.Attention is drawn to the Procurement Regulations requiring the Borrower to disclose information on the successful bidder’s beneficial ownership, as part of the Contract Award Notice, using the Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Form as included in the bidding document.
