L'objecte del present contracte, d'acord amb l'article 99 de la Llei de Contractes del Sector Públic, és el subministrament, la instal·lació, la posada en marxa i la garantia d'una trituradora específica per a residus voluminosos i per a la fracció vegetal (FV) destinada a la Planta de Residus Voluminosos de Reus, amb una capacitat i prestacions adequades per atendre una planta amb un tractament anual aproximat de 4000 tones de residus voluminosos i per complementar la trituració de la FV per a la reducció del volum i transport a la planta de compostatge. El contracte inclou el lliurament de l'equip, transport, muntatge, proves de funcionament, formació al personal i període de garantia i manteniment inicial, així com les especificacions tècniques mínimes necessàries per assegurar la compatibilitat amb els processos de la planta de voluminosos, la millora de la compactació i premsatge dels voluminosos i l'augment de la capacitat i qualitat del triturat de la FV. L'equip serà nou.
