The remediation of Block F was revisited in 2023, with a preliminary design completed in May of that year. The extensive nature of the required remediation due to the modulock construction and the lack of cost advantages meant the scope was revised with classroom replacement being recommended instead. The new scope agreed in 2025 includes: o Demolition of 3TS and Wharenui (1TS) in Block F o Refurbish, relocate, and convert Classroom 20 (K2 reference Classroom 1) into new Wharenui (1TS) o General siteworks, infrastructure, and sandpit relocation
