Sør-Aurdal ungdomsskole ble totalskadet av flommen Hans i 2023, og måtte rives og erstattes med ny skole. Den gamle skolen er revet og fjernet i en tidligere entreprise. Tomten er flomsikret og klargjort for bygging av ny skole. Adressen til bygget er Dalagata 32, 2930 Bagn. Skolen vil ha et areal på ca. 1500 m2 som består av undervisningsarealer, personalrom, administrasjonsarealer, spesialrom, elevgarderober, toaletter, tekniske rom og øvrige funksjoner som er nødvendige for skolens drift. Denne kontrakten omfatter bygget med tilhørende og gjennomføres som en totalentreprise.
