Predmetom zákazky je zabezpečenie úkonov a procesov úpravy komunálneho odpadu mechanicko-biologickú úpravu (drvenie a triedenie) zmesového komunálneho odpadu (komunálny odpad po vytriedení zložiek komunálneho odpadu) pre získanie podrvenej druhotnej suroviny a odseparovanie jednotlivých zložiek odpadu za účelom redukcie množstva odpadu ukladaného na skládku, zhodnotenia vyseparovaných zložiek a získania druhotnej suroviny - tuhého alternatívneho paliva (TAP), resp. tuhého druhotného paliva (TDP) spolu s ostatným výsledným produktom /kovy, organická frakcia, PVC atď./. Z hľadiska technologického sa jedná o zabezpečenie komplexných služieb potrebných pre mechanicko-biologickú úpravu zmesových komunálnych odpadov za účelom dodatočného dotriedenia a biologickej stabilizácie zvyškového, výlučne zmesového komunálneho odpadu prostredníctvom systémov, tzv. mechanicko-biologickej úpravy odpadu, pri ktorých výsledným produktom po mechanicko-biologickej úprave je výlučne upravený, resp. biologicky stabilizovaný odpad..
