Predmetom obstarávania je vytvorenie a dodanie diela “Nová generácia zberu údajov o objektoch a zariadeniach verejného vodovodu a verejnej kanalizácie“ – ďalej iba NG ZberVaK a dodanie služieb podpory na 5 rokov. Nový informačný systém NG ZberVaK je zameraný na digitálny zber údajov a spracovania údajov v oblasti verejných vodovodov (VV) a verejných kanalizácií (VK). Projekt zahŕňa implementáciu vybraných elektronických služieb, ich vzájomnú integráciu a interoperabilitu tak, aby sa zvýšila používateľská prívetivosť štátnych orgánov, inštitúcií a organizácií zapojených do plnenia legislatívnych povinností. Prostredníctvom obstarávaného systému NG ZberVaK budú subjekty – od poskytovateľov údajov až po kontrolné a dohľadové orgány – navzájom kooperovať v jednotnom digitálnom prostredí. Systém zabezpečí elektronickú (bezpapierovú) komunikáciu, efektívnu výmenu údajov a automatizované spracovanie hlásení, čím sa skráti čas vybavenia, zvýši kvalita údajov a umožní jednoduchšia kontrola ich úplnosti a správnosti.
