Details
Nygårdstunnelen i Bergen ble åpnet i 1999 og er 864 meter lang. Tunnelen går fra Puddefjordsbroen til Nygårdstangen, med på- og avkjøringsramper ved O.J. Brochsgate. Fra Puddefjordsbroen er det 2 felt, mens fra O.J. Brochs gate er det 1 felt. Disse møtes i tunnelen slik at det er 3 felt ved ut- og innkjøringen på Nygårdstangen. Årsdøgnstrafikken er på ca. 45000.
Tunnelen skal oppgraderes i henhold til tunnnelsikkerhetsforskriften og utstyr i og utenfor tunnelen skal byttes ut, og erstattes med nytt utstyr som ivaretar dagens krav. Dette omfatter blant annet:
- Nytt ventilasjonsanlegg.
- Nytt belysningsanlegg med både nytt lys i tunneltaket og sammenhengende evakueringslys.
- Det skal legges opp slukkevann til brannvesenet.
- Ny løsning for håndtering av utslipp og tunnelvaskevann som ivaretar utslippskrav.
- Ny skilting med bommer, kjørefeltsignal og variable skilt.
- Nødstasjoner med brannslukkere og telefon.
- Kamera med dekning igjennom hele tunnelen som gir alarm ved hendelser.
- Nytt teknisk bygg i tunnelen i eksisterende fjellrom.
- Ny stoppnisje skal etableres ved teknisk bygg.
- Riving av eksisterende luftrenseanlegg.
