Details

ITC wants to contract a supplier for 8 months, starting as soon as possible after signing of the contract. The contract will be managed from ITC’s headquarter in Geneva. The contractor will be expected to create a training programme on “The Reverse Value Chain and Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)”, destined at textiles and clothing stakeholders at the policy (trade, industry, environment), institutional, and enterprise level in developing countries. A secondary target group is international brands and retailers, who could benefit from the materials by better understanding the intricacies of post-industrial and post-consumer handling and processing, especially from a human perspective. The training programme will need to build on and complement two already developed and successfully tested training ITC programmes, which can both be found on ITC’s Global Textile Academy: one on Circular Economy Business Models for the T&C Industry, the other one on Eco-design for Circularity for the T&C industry. Both trainings make reference to important market regulations such as the ESPR, DPP and other regulations in the EU and elsewhere.

A quick checklist to help you decide whether to bid and prepare a compliant submission for this education & training opportunity. Always verify the details on the official source.

  • Read the full notice and every attached document, including the scope, specifications and any bill of quantities or terms of reference.
  • Check the eligibility criteria — prior similar experience, annual turnover, certifications and registrations — and make sure you qualify before investing effort.
