Request for Proposals (RFP)

Overview

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited (BGSW) invites applications from eligible non-profit organizations to partner on high-impact CSR programmes across three thematic areas. Selected partners will co-deliver multi-year interventions with measurable, large-scale impact. Innovation and technology will be considered as cross-cutting elements across the thematic areas and projects, while employee and community volunteering should be integrated into programme design, where relevant.

Grant Thornton Bharat (GT) has been engaged by BGSW to support the CSR partner selection process, including application review, eligibility assessment, evaluation of applicant organizations, and due diligence procedures. GT’s role is to facilitate a structured and objective assessment process based on the criteria agreed with BGSW. Final selection and funding decisions will remain solely with BGSW.

General instructions

The official application form is available at the link provided at the end of this RFP/page.

A separate application must be submitted for each individual project/sub-programme that the organization wishes to apply for.

Please refer to the detailed eligibility criteria and application process instructions set out in the application form before applying. Applicants must meet all mandatory eligibility criteria to be considered.

Complete all mandatory questions. Use "Not Applicable" only where a question genuinely does not apply.

Be concise and evidence-based. Respect all indicated word limits and support claims with recent data and sources.

State all financial figures in INR and specify whether amounts include applicable taxes or other components, as applicable.

Applications will be accepted only from eligible non-profit organisations. Applicants may propose collaborative delivery arrangements with third parties, including technology solution providers, start-ups, academic institutions, technical agencies or other non-profit organisations, subject to applicable legal and regulatory requirements and the conditions to be specified in the grant agreement.

Applicants are encouraged to identify relevant opportunities for innovation within the proposed project, including innovations in programme design, implementation methodology, delivery processes, monitoring or the appropriate use of technology. Applicants may engage external specialists or agencies for this purpose; however, the presence of a technology partner is preferred, but not mandatory.

Proposals will be assessed on the relevance, feasibility and potential contribution of the proposed innovation to project outcomes, rather than solely on the presence of a technology or innovation partner.

Where an external partner is proposed, the applicant should clearly describe the partner’s role and indicate whether the proposed technology or innovation component is integral to the project or represents an optional enhancement.

Attach all mandatory supporting documents as listed in the application form.

Shortlisting is not a grant commitment. Final awards remain subject to technical, financial, legal, compliance and governance due diligence, which may include in-person visits to the organization and programme sites to validate the information submitted.

Applicants must disclose any actual, potential or perceived conflict of interest that may affect, or be seen to affect, their participation in the selection process or implementation of the proposed project. This includes any personal, professional, financial or organizational relationship with BGSW, GT, members of the selection committee, or any person involved in the evaluation process. BGSW may seek additional information or take appropriate action, including disqualification, where a conflict of interest is identified or not adequately disclosed.

Applicants, including their officers, employees, representatives, agents, advisers, partners and subcontractors, must not engage in any corrupt, fraudulent, coercive, collusive, undesirable, restrictive or otherwise unethical practice, directly or indirectly, in connection with this RFP, the selection process or any subsequent engagement. Any such conduct may result in rejection of the application, termination of discussions, cancellation of any award, or other action as deemed appropriate by BGSW.

Applicants are expected to follow applicable laws, regulatory requirements and good governance practices, including transparency, accountability, ethical conduct, data protection, safeguarding of beneficiaries, responsible use of funds, and maintenance of appropriate records. BGSW may request supporting information or clarifications to assess compliance with these requirements at any stage of the process.

BGSW reserves the right to accept, reject, defer, modify or cancel any application, proposal, thematic area, project component or the overall selection process at any stage, without assigning any reason. Submission of an application does not create any right, entitlement or expectation of funding, shortlisting or partnership.

All information submitted by applicants must be true, complete and accurate to the best of their knowledge. Any misrepresentation, omission, inconsistency or inability to substantiate key claims may lead to disqualification from the selection process or withdrawal of any decision made on the basis of such information.

The selection committee reserves the sole and absolute right to shortlist, select, reject, defer or discontinue consideration of any application at any stage of the process, without assigning any reason or providing any justification. The decision of the selection committee shall be final and binding, and submission of an application shall not create any right or entitlement to be shortlisted, selected or awarded funding.
