Eligible Cultural Activities The programme covers a broad range of artistic and cultural activities. Eligible projects may include performing arts such as: - Theatre. - Music. - Dance. - Folk arts.

Other eligible activities can include:

- Lectures related to Japanese culture. - Cultural workshops. - Demonstrations of Japanese cultural practices. - Activities related to Japanese culture and sports. Projects should contribute to the international presentation of Japanese culture and foster cultural exchange. International Travel Support The programme provides partial financial support for international travel expenses. However, the travel support has a specific eligibility requirement: - Only round-trip flights departing from Japan are eligible. Applicants should therefore ensure that their proposed travel arrangements comply with the programme’s rules concerning eligible international transportation. Carriage and Freight Support Partial support is also available for carriage expenses, including baggage and freight associated with eligible overseas cultural activities.
