Georgia has received financing from the World Bank (WB) towards the cost of the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor - Georgia Accessibility and Transport Enhancement Project (TCTC-GATE) and intends to apply part of the proceeds to payments for goods, works, and related services and consulting services to be procured under this project. The Project is co-financed by Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). The financing agreement with AIIB is being processed and will be concluded in due course. The consulting services (“the Services”) include the SUPERVISION OF CONSTRUCTION WORKS FOR BADIAURI-CHALAUBANI (LOT 4) AND CHALAUBANI – BAKURTSIKE (LOT 5) ROAD SECTIONS OF TBILISI– BAKURTSIKHE–LAGODEKHI (KAKHETI) HIGHWAY . The proposed road sections form part of the Tbilisi– Bakurtsikhe–Lagodekhi (Azerbaijan Border) international highway and constitute a major transit corridor connecting Tbilisi to the Kakheti region and onward to north-western Azerbaijan.
