Gloppen kommune skal renovere og bygge om for universell utforming av eksisterande garderobar ved Breim skule. Breim skule er ein barneskule med 94 elevar i 1-7 klasse og ligg på Byrkjelo. Garderobeanlegget består i dag av eit dobbelt garderobesett, herre og damegarderobe, med omkledingsrom, toalett og dusjar. Det vil bli etablert to ekstra HC toalett/dusj i kvar garderobe ved å ta i bruk areal som i dag er brukt til badstu og lager. Inngangspartiet vil bli tilpassa slik at det er god tilkomst med rullestol frå parkeringsplass via inngangsparti til garderobar, med nødvendige snu-sirklar, dørbreidder og dørstyringar. Garderobane er frå tidleg på 80 talet. Det har vore gjort nokre mindre oppgraderingar, men i det store så framstår garderobane slik dei var bygde. (jmf tilstandsrapport) Garderobane er ikkje universelt utforma, slik at menneske med ulike funksjonsnedsettingar kan nytte dei.
