Gjennom denne anskaffinga ynskjer Sogndal kommune å inngå rammeavtale for levering av legemiddel, multidose og apotekervarer for bygda Sogndal. Bygdene Leikanger og Balestrand er allereie med på rammeavtale gjennom innkjøpssamarbeidet INSS. Medisin til heimebuande vert dekka av brukaren sjølv og er ikkje en del av den økonomiske ramma til avtalen. Kostnader ved pakking av multidose til heimebuande vert betalt av kommunen. Rammeavtalen dekker ikkje medisinsk forbruksmateriell, da kommunen har eigen rammeavtale for dette.
