Vestre Viken HF har til hensikt å inngå en direkte avtale med Philips AS om levering av fjernstyringsløsning for CT- og MR maskiner – Radiology Operations Command Center (ROCC). Løsningen blir en del av et innovasjonsprosjekt som skal gjøre det mulig for radiografer ved et sentralt kommandosenter å fjernstyre CT- og MR maskiner, uavhengig av geografisk plassering. Anskaffelsen gjennomføres som en pilotstudie med start i ordinær klinisk drift, med en gratis prøveperiode på seks måneder og mulighet for oppsigelse dersom løsningen ikke gir ønskede resultater.
