Purchase of Office Vehicles for PIU

The Islamic Republic of Pakistan has secured financing from the World Bank for the Balochistan Water Security and Productivity Improvement Project (BWSPIP). The project aims to reduce the significant water supply-demand gap in the QWASA service area by improving QWASA’s planning capabilities, enhancing groundwater management for groundwater protection and sustainable withdrawal, optimizing operational and financial performance (including through pressure control and leak detection), and extending access to water supply services in low-income areas. The activities will strengthen QWASA’s resilience to climate shocks by optimizing water usage and contribute to mitigation efforts by optimizing pump energy consumption. Project Director PIU-BWSPIP Component-B now invites quotations from eligible bidders for the procurement of three (03) vehicles for PIU-BWSPIP (Component-B), in accordance with the technical specifications and requirements set out in Section III of the Request for Quotations (RFQ). Bidders shall quote for all items included in this RFQ. Procurement will be conducted through national shopping using a Request for Quotations (RFQ) as specified in the World Bank’s in the World Bank Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers (Procurement in Investment Project Financing, Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services – Fifth Edition, September 2023, and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. The contract will be awarded to the substantially responsive bidder offering the lowest evaluated cost. The deadline for receipt of your quotation(s) by the Purchaser at the address indicated in Paragraph 5 is, before 10:30 AM dated 27th August, 2026.
