81111500 - Software or hardware engineering 81111800 - System and system component administration services 81112200 - Software maintenance and support 80111600 - Temporary personnel services DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENTS The United Nations Secretariat intends to establish a global, long-term Contract for the provision of Software Development and Application Services in support of the Office of Information and Communications Technology (OICT) and all other United Nations Secretariat entities worldwide. The requirement aims to establish a roster of qualified contractors capable of delivering a broad range of software development, application support, digital transformation, and related ICT professional services to support the mandates and operations of the United Nations. Services may be required by, but are not limited to, United Nations Headquarters, Peacekeeping Missions, Special Political Missions, Offices Away from Headquarters, Regional Economic Commissions, Tribunals, and other Secretariat entities globally. Services may be delivered from United Nations premises, contractor premises, offshore locations, or through remote delivery arrangements, depending on operational requirements. The scope of services includes the design, development, implementation, enhancement, integration, operation, maintenance, support, modernization, and governance of enterprise and departmental applications. The requirement also encompasses strategic advisory services, digital transformation initiatives, cloud migration and operations, application security, artificial intelligence and automation, data and analytics, and related application lifecycle services.
