Details

WIPO is seeking a Program Consultant to provide temporary program support during the parental leave of a staff member and ensure business continuity within the Department for Development Cooperation (DDC), Regional and National Development Sector (RNDS).

The Department works closely with Regional Divisions and other relevant WIPO units to support cooperation with Member States and stakeholders, strengthen intellectual property ecosystems, and promote the effective use of intellectual property as a tool for growth and development.

Interested candidates are invited to express their interest and consult the detailed Terms of Reference and other relevant information on WIPO's eSourcing platform.

Application Instructions

To submit an application, candidates must register on the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) as an Individual Consultant.

Please note that, following registration, synchronization between UNGM and WIPO's eSourcing platform may take a few hours. During this period, candidates may encounter error messages when attempting to access the platform.

We therefore strongly encourage candidates to complete their UNGM registration well in advance and submit their applications before the deadline to avoid any last-minute technical issues.

Thank you for your interest in working with WIPO.

Before you bid on this tender

A quick checklist to help you decide whether to bid and prepare a compliant submission for this financial & professional services opportunity. Always verify the details on the official source.

  • Confirm the exact closing date and time (and time zone) on the official portal — deadlines are strict and can be revised by a corrigendum.
  • Read the full notice and every attached document, including the scope, specifications and any bill of quantities or terms of reference.
  • Check the eligibility criteria — prior similar experience, annual turnover, certifications and registrations — and make sure you qualify before investing effort.
  • Prepare any earnest-money deposit (EMD) or bid security and the required formats early; missing or wrongly-formatted documents are a common cause of rejection.
  • Note how bids must be submitted (online or physical), in what format, and whether a digital signature or portal registration is required.
  • Watch for corrigenda and clarifications right up to the deadline — requirements and dates can change.
