1. The District Council of Black River is inviting bids from eligible bidders of Mauritian nationals or entities incorporated in Mauritius through the Government eProcurement System for the Procurement of Services for Street Cleaning, Refuse Collection and Disposal including carting away of Post Cyclonic Wastes in the District Council of Black River area for Lots 1 and 2 for a period of Twenty-Four (24) months. Bidders shall be registered with the relevant authority Ministry of Local Government / Ministry of Environment, Solid Waste Management and Climate Change (Solid Waste Management Division) as Scavenging Contractors for the collection and carting away of solid waste. 2. Bidding documents may be downloaded from the eProcurement System https://eproc.publicprocurement.govmu.org. Reference Number on the system: DISTRICT COUNCIL OF BLACK RIVER/IFB/2026/863 3. Bids must be submitted online on the eProcurement System at latest by Monday 16 November 2026 up to 13.30 hours (Mauritian Time) at latest. 4. Bidders who have submitted bids online by the closing date and time shall decrypt and re-encrypt their bids on Monday 16 November 2026 as from14.31 hours (Mauritian Time) till Wednesday 18 November 2026up to 14.00 hours (Mauritian Time) 5. Bids will be opened online on the e-Procurement System on Wednesday 18 November 2026from 14.01 hours up to 18.00 hoursin the Conference Room of the Central Procurement Board, 1st Floor, Social Security House,Julius Nyeréré Street, Rose Hill 6.
