De gemeente, woCom en Woonpartners zijn voor het EHAD-terrein op zoek naar een gebiedsontwikkelaar. Dat wil zeggen een partij, die de complexiteit van de opgave overziet, de ambities voor het EHAD-terrein omarmt en deelt, ervaring heeft met soortgelijke opgaven, langjarig commitment toont en zich hiermee ook langjarig als samenwerkingspartner wil binden aan de opgave. Op basis hiervan hebben de gemeente en de woningcorporaties samengevat het volgende ultieme doel geformuleerd voor deze partnerselectieprocedure:

“Het selecteren van een gebiedsontwikkelaar, die voor het EHAD-terrein maximale invulling geeft aan de vijf thema’s uit de Visie Stationskwartier Helmond en zich langjarig committeert aan het gebied in een samenwerking met de gemeente Helmond, woCom en Woonpartners.”
