Anskaffelsen har som formål å etablere rammeavtale med en profesjonell aktør av ombyggingstjenester for oppdragsgivers kjøretøy og kjøretøysgrupper som oppdragsgiver til enhver tid finner formålstjenlig. Med ombygging menes installasjon av lyd- og lyssignal, innredningsløsninger, sikkerhetsutstyr, samband, ANPR-utstyr og annet teknisk utstyr (eller kombinasjon av disse) som oppdragsgiver til enhver tid finner formålstjenlig.
