Oppdragsgiver for denne konkurransen er de fem regionale bompengeselskapene (BPS) oppført nedenfor. Disse selskapene finansierer bompengeprosjekter og driver bompengeinnkreving i Norge, og samarbeider om tekniske systemløsninger.De fem selskapene er:Ferde AS (org.nr. 918 012 745)Vegfinans AS (org.nr. 983 149 499)Fjellinjen AS (org.nr. 941 856 543)Vegamot AS (org.nr. 935 162 718)Bompengeselskap Nord AS (org.nr. 817 919 472)Selskapene skal inngå felles avtaler med vinnende leverandør i konkurransen (SSA-B og SSA-V).BPS-ene skal i fellesskap overta drift og forvaltning av autopass.no for å kunne ivareta samordningsoppgaver på kommunikasjon og tilrettelegge for mer kundevennlig og effektiv innkreving av bompenger. I den forbindelse skal BPS-ene i fellesskap anskaffe en ny nettside for autopass.no-domenet.autopass.no er i dag en nettside med informasjon om bompengeordningen i Norge, og retter seg mot både brukere av AutoPASS-ordningen (bilister) og aktørene i bransjen.Ved overtagelse av autopass.no skal BPS-ene etablere en ny nettside som utelukkende retter seg mot brukerne av ordningen. Nye autopass.no skal fungere som felles portal for alle bilistgrupper.
