Norway – Snow-clearing services – Winter maintenance Stranda kommune - lot 101

In 2025 Stranda municipality announced a competition for winter maintenance of municipal roads in Stranda municipality. This tender contest involves a new notice for one of the sub-contracts (lot 101 Stranda, Storgjerde/Langlo/Jakob). The winter maintenance includes the following: • snow clearing • snow clearing • gritting of salt and gravel • milling • stand-by in the period from 15 October to and including 15 April The winter maintenance does not apply to the snow clearing of private roads, as it was approved in the Municipal Council 30.04.25 that the municipality would wind up the scheme with snow clearing of private roads. There are, however, enough exceptions for user services with decisions on heildøgns care in accordance with the Health and Welfare Act, and user services that need to be of other weighted health or social foundations. See Annex 2 Requirement Specifications for requirements for the implementation of the service. The agreement will be valid for 2 seasons, with an option for an extension for 1+1 season, so that the joint contract period is approx. 3.5 years. The estimated annual value for lot 101, based on the purchase of services in the haust season 2025 - spring 2026 is approx. The total value is approx. NOK 2.0 million over the entire contract period. Nok 20 million over the entire contract period.
