Norway – Mats – Framework agreement for fixed mat zones

Viken Vest Innkjøpssamarbeid (VVI), represented by Øvre Eiker municipality, intends to enter into a framework agreement for the supply of fixed mat zones to municipal buildings. The mat zones are to be installed at entrance areas and other high-traffic areas, for example in schools, kindergartens, town halls, healthcare buildings and sports facilities. The purpose is to reduce the ingress of dirt, dust and moisture, and thereby contribute to better cleaning results, indoor climate and safety for employees and visitors. The framework agreement primarily covers the mat zones themselves, but also associated matting services such as site inspection, design, delivery and installation. The contracting authority has an option for carpet beaters and for alternative forms of financing instead of purchase. The participants in the procurement are Flesberg municipality, Gol municipality, Hemsedal municipality, Lier Eiendomsselskap KF, Modum municipality, Nesbyen municipality, Tinn municipality, Ål municipality and Øvre Eiker municipality (option). The procurement is not divided into lots, and the agreement will be entered into with a single supplier. The estimated total value for the contract period, including options, is approximately NOK 14.4 million excl. VAT, with a ceiling of NOK 18 million excl. VAT. The contract period is 2 years, with an option to extend by 1 + 1 year. The contract will be awarded to the tender with the best ratio between price (40 %), quality (30 %) and climate and environment (30 %).
