Details

The City of Oslo, through the Agency for Urban Environment, invites tenders for the purchase of two operational vessels for use in the inner Oslo Fjord. The procurement covers a single contract for two operational vessels built on a common platform with virtually identical catamaran hulls. The vessels are to be designed to allow for potential future conversion to electric propulsion. The vessels will replace existing craft and be used for operational tasks, maintenance, and archipelago services in the inner Oslo Fjord. Both vessels are to be delivered with a petrol-powered propulsion system: Operations vessel 1 will be based at Hovedøya. Operations vessel 2 will be based at Håøya. The operational tasks require robust vessels capable of beaching and docking in shallow waters, as well as operating in narrow and confined bays.

Before you bid on this tender

A quick checklist to help you decide whether to bid and prepare a compliant submission for this transport & logistics opportunity. Always verify the details on the official source.

  • Confirm the exact closing date and time (and time zone) on the official portal — deadlines are strict and can be revised by a corrigendum.
  • Read the full notice and every attached document, including the scope, specifications and any bill of quantities or terms of reference.
  • Check the eligibility criteria — prior similar experience, annual turnover, certifications and registrations — and make sure you qualify before investing effort.
  • Prepare any earnest-money deposit (EMD) or bid security and the required formats early; missing or wrongly-formatted documents are a common cause of rejection.

  • Watch for corrigenda and clarifications right up to the deadline — requirements and dates can change.
