Contract Title: Additional PIU Assistance Support for Bukojchani - Kicevo Road Section

Contract Description: The overall objective of the Assignment is to facilitate the timely and effective implementation of the Project by providing assistance as PIU to the Public Enterprise for State Roads of the Republic of North Macedonia. The Consultant appointed to support the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) with this function will familiarise themselves the Financing Documents related to the Project and other EBRD key documents including those which govern lending policies and practices including, but not limited to:

EBRD Environmental and Social Policy EBRD Procurement Policies & Rules EBRD Disbursement Handbook for Public Sector Clients Other related EBRD Policies, Strategies or Procedures as relevant to the Project By engaging a consultant, it is expected that PESR will have access to international best practice in the field of project management, including procurement of works, goods and services. The work of the Consultant refers to the whole Project and not only to the portion financed by EBRD and covers all the contracts listed in the Annex 1 – Indicative Procurement Plan. The delivery of the above scope is to be designed and delivered to the Client in a way that will maximize necessary knowledge transfer and on the job training to the Client staff assigned to PIU.
