De directie Vertalingen (AVT) van het ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken heeft behoefte aan de inhuur van diensten voor het vertalen van teksten met een hoog afbreukrisico uit het Nederlands naar het Engels. Onder hoog afbreukrisico wordt verstaan dat, gezien de aard en inhoud van de teksten, ondeskundige vertaling kan leiden tot inbreuk op de veiligheid, tot financiële en/of juridische schade voor de Nederlandse Staat, tot politieke schade in binnen- of buitenland, of tot schade aan het imago van Nederland in het buitenland. Mede gebaseerd op ervaringscijfers van de afgelopen jaren en de verwachte toekomstige behoefte, is de omvang van de Opdracht geraamd. De geraamde waarde van de Opdracht bedraagt gemiddeld € 100.000, -- exclusief btw per jaar, derhalve € 400.000,-- exclusief btw over een looptijd van vier jaar.
