In de huidige situatie heeft de KB een overeenkomst voor Beveiliging- en receptiediensten. Deze overeenkomst eindigt op 30 april 2027 van rechtswege. De KB heeft besloten om Beveiliging- en receptiediensten Europees aan te besteden. De nieuwe Dienstverleningsovereenkomst moet per 1 mei 2027 ingaan.
