Ten behoeve van dijkversterkingsproject KIJK beschikt het hoogheemraadschap van Schieland en de Krimpenerwaard (HHSK) over een grondwatermeetnet waarmee gedurende de uitvoering van het project de grondwaterstanden worden gemonitord. Het meetnet levert essentiële informatie voor de technische onderbouwing van ontwerp-, uitvoerings- en risicobeheersingsbeslissingen. De huidige overeenkomst voor het beheer en de exploitatie van het grondwatermeetnet eindigt per 31 december 2026. Voor de resterende looptijd van project KIJK is voortzetting van deze dienstverlening noodzakelijk. Het doel van de opdracht is het waarborgen van een betrouwbaar functionerend grondwatermeetnet en een consistente verwerking en interpretatie van de meetgegevens, zodat HHSK gedurende de uitvoering van project KIJK beschikt over kwalitatief hoogwaardige informatie voor technische analyses, risicobeheersing en besluitvorming.
