Lots Lot 1 — Voorbereiding reconstructie Rembrandtplein e.o. te Lichtenvoorde: De gemeente Oost Gelre is voornemens de wijk Rembrandtplein e.o. te Lichtenvoorde integraal te reconstrueren. De wijk is gerealiseerd in de wederopbouwperiode en kent een inrichting en materiaalgebruik die niet meer voldoen aan de huidige technische, functionele en maatschappelijke eisen. De bestaande verharding is verouderd, het rioolstelsel is aan vervanging toe en de openbare ruimte biedt onvoldoende mogelijkheden om in te spelen op actuele opgaven zoals klimaatadaptatie, duurzaamheid en leef kwaliteit. Daarnaast is er een duidelijke behoefte aan meer groen, verbeterde infiltratie van regenwater en een inrichting die beter aansluit bij de wensen van bewoners en bij de gemeentelijke duurzaamheidsambities. Een zorgvuldig ingericht participatie- en omgevingsproces is essentieel voor het slagen van de reconstructie van de wijk Rembrandtplein e.o. Het projectgebied omvat geheel of gedeeltelijk de volgende straten: Patronaatsstraat, Van Heijdenstraat, Dominee van Krevelenstraat, Gert Reindersstraat, Bronckhorststraat, Rode van Heeckerenstraat, Dokter Besselinkstraat, Nieuwe Maat, Oude Altenseweg, Rembrandtplein, Hugo de Grootstraat, Vondelstraat, Doktor Schaepmanstraat, Doctor Ariënsstraat, Kardinaal de Jongstraat, Julianastraat, Bernhardstraat en Wilhelminastraat. Binnen dit gebied wonen en werken diverse belanghebbenden die direct worden geraakt door de voorgenomen ingrepen.
