The Ministry of Finance and Planning (MoFP) is seeking to recruit qualified Data Analysis and Reporting Officer under the Social Recovery & Job Creation Project (SRJC), financed by the World Bank for the benefit of The Ministry of Local Government . The selected Data Analysis and Reporting Officer will be assigned to work at the Ministry of Local Government — to support the Ministry of Local Government in strengthening institutional reporting, improving data analysis, and enhancing the quality and consistency of information used for planning, monitoring, and decision-making. Duties and Responsibilities The Data Analysis and Reporting Officer will support the collection, validation, analysis, and reporting of institutional data and information. The Officer will coordinate with relevant departments to improve reporting processes, prepare analytical reports, and support evidence-based planning and institutional performance. Main Duties and Responsibilities Collect, organize, validate, and analyze reports and data received from relevant departments. Prepare periodic reports, statistical summaries, analytical reports, briefing notes, and presentations. Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure the timely submission and accuracy of reports and data. Consolidate institutional reports and ensure the consistency and completeness of information. Maintain and update reporting records, databases, and related documentation. Develop dashboards, charts, and reporting tools to support management decision-making. Review data quality and identify inconsistencies or gaps requiring follow-up. Support the preparation of reports required by senior management, development partners, and other stakeholders. Recommend improvements to reporting systems and data analysis practices. Maintain organized electronic and hard-copy records related to reporting and data analysis. Perform any other related duties as may be assigned by the Director General of the Projects Department.

Job Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Statistics, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Economics, Public Administration, or any other related field. Minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience in reporting, data analysis, institutional reporting, or administrative coordination. Demonstrated experience in preparing reports, analyzing quantitative and qualitative data, and presenting findings. Experience working with government institutions or internationally financed projects is an advantage. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience in Power BI, Excel dashboards, or other data visualization tools is considered an advantage. Excellent communication and report-writing skills in both Arabic and English. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
