Provision of medical Gas pipeline authorising engineer

— From the tender document (tenderNotice): - Possible extension to 3 January 2034 The right to additional purchases while the contract is valid. 2x 12 month options to extend contract after 5 years Legal and financial capacity conditions of participation Must be registered on the central digital platform. UK GDPR in place at time of contract.

  • The Piped Medical Gas installations shall comply with, but not be limited to, the latest edition of the following standards:-
  • Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015
  • Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations 2002

  • Supply of Machinery (Safety) Regulations 2008
  • 7671, The IEE Wiring Regulations

  • It is essential that the Bidder is registered and holds the following accreditations:

  • The applicant must be registered with IHEEM as an Authorised Engineer and be on the AE Directory.
  • Guy's and St. Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust is tendering for a provider for the provision of Authorising Engineer (AE) for Piped Medical Gases.
  • The AE will act as an independent professional adviser to the Trust. The AE is appointed by the Trust in line with HTM 00 and HTM 02.
  • The AE will act as assessor and make recommendations for the appointment of Authorised Persons (APs), monitor the performance of the service and provide an annual audit report to the designated Person (DP).
