Details
Waterschap Limburg (hierna: WL) beheert circa 188 kilometer primaire waterkering, verdeeld over 46 dijktrajecten. Deze trajecten dienen binnen de looptijd van LBO2 te worden beoordeeld conform de Omgevingsregeling en het landelijk geldende beoordelingsinstrumentarium (BOI).
De uitvoering van deze beoordelingen vraagt om specialistische kennis op het gebied van waterveiligheid, geotechniek, hydraulica en probabilistische analyses. Daarnaast vraagt het beoordelingsproces om een zorgvuldige en uniforme werkwijze, waarbij kwaliteit en reproduceerbaarheid van groot belang zijn.
WL beschikt over een intern team met inhoudelijke expertise op het gebied van waterveiligheid en LBO2-beoordelingen. Gezien de omvang van de opgave, de complexiteit van de beoordelingen en de beschikbare interne capaciteit, heeft WL ervoor gekozen om externe ondersteuning in te zetten voor de uitvoering van de resterende beoordelingen.
