DFØ skal inngå kontrakt om leie av datarom for plassering og drift av virksomhetens servere. Anskaffelsen omfatter blant annet tilgang til datarom med redundant strømforsyning, UPS og nødaggregat, redundant kjøling, redundante føringsveier for nettilknytning, fysisk og logisk sikkerhet samt døgnkontinuerlig vakt- og beredskapsordning.
