General Procurement Notice

1. Funding Details

The above named client intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from/grant administered by the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (the Bank) towards the cost of the above named project.

Additional financing information:

55,000,000 USD Loan and 13,000,000 USD EU Investment grant and 2 Mio USD TC grant.

2. Information on the Project

Project Description:

The Project is comprising of a 1) Consultancy contract to support the Client PIU in the implementation of the Project including Construction Supervision and a 2) Works contract with Operation and Maintenance for Shallala Wastewater Treatment Plant rehabilitation and expansion covering:

Section A: New treatment train design and construction

Section B: Rehabilitation and optimisation of existing plant

Section C: O&M of new train plus training (12 months)

Section D: O&M of integrated plant plus secondment (24 months)

Estimated Total Project Value 69,000,000.00 Currency USD Procurement Type Works,Consultancy Estimated Start Date of Procurement 27/07/2026.

3. Other Information

Contracts will be subject to the Bank's Procurement Policies and Rules and are open for participation for firms from any country, unless otherwise specified in the procurement documents. Procurement under this project will be conducted using the EBRD Client E-Procurement Portal (ECEPP).
