Politiet har behov for å øke sin kompetanse innenfor bruk av data og teknologi og ønsker derfor tilgang på relevante kompetansetiltak og deltakelse i faglige nettverk med høy kompetanse med mulighet for lærling og deling. Politiet ønsker også å kunne påvirke sentrale beslutningstakere innenfor digitaliseringsområdet. En avtale om medlemskap i Digital Norway vil dekke disse behovene. Politiet har derfor en intensjon om å inngå en medlemsavtale med Toppindustrisenteret AS om medlemskap i Digital Norway med tilgang til de tjenestene det innebærer.
