Guatemala, through the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MSPAS) and the Special Unit for the Execution of Health Programs and Projects (UEPPS), has financing from the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) under Loan Agreement No. 4791/OC-GU for the execution of the "Program for the Strengthening of the Institutional Network of Health Services" (PRORISS). This call is structured under the Single Lot modality for the acquisition of medical response vehicles.
Scope of supply
Main objective: Acquisition of twelve (12) special ambulances.
Institutional destination: Operational strengthening and emergency coverage by the Regulatory Center for Medical Emergencies of Guatemala.
Qualification Requirements and Conditions Evaluation criteria: Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the IDB's Policies for the Acquisition of Works and Goods. The selection process will include an exhaustive documentary review, the validation of the technical capacity and financial solvency of the bidder, and strict compliance with the factory specifications of the vehicles.
Preference Margin: No economic preference or scoring margin will be granted to contractors of national origin.
Guarantee of seriousness: It is mandatory that all offers include the duly completed "Declaration of Maintenance of the Offer" form in order to be accepted.
Management and presentation channels Access to the bases: The official documents of the process are available in Spanish and can be consulted and downloaded digitally through the Guatecompras platform, using the operation number NOG 31122469.
Process sessions: The specifications include the holding of a virtual prior informative meeting to resolve doubts with interested bidders, as well as a public opening of envelopes that will be attended by the representatives who wish to attend.
Delivery method: The technical and economic bids must be presented printed in a sealed envelope in physical form at the UEPPS offices located in Guatemala City. Proposals will not be sent by electronic means.
