Hovedformålet med prosjektet er å kartlegge innvandrerkvinners arbeidsmarkedsdeltakelse på både kort og lang sikt, samt undersøke hva som kan forklare deres (manglende) arbeidsmarkedsdeltakelse. Videre skal prosjektet spesifikt se på hva som kan bidra til at en høyere andel nyankomne kvinner med fluktbakgrunn kommer i arbeid/utdanning gjennom, eller i etterkant av, deltakelsen i introduksjonsprogram, og hvordan dette kan opprettholdes over tid.
