| Brief Description of Assignment | : | Scope of Services: Key functions of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Specialist will include but not limited to: 1. OHS Risk Assessment and Compliance Identify and assess OHS risks associated with project activities and recommend appropriate mitigation measures. Monitor compliance with national OHS requirements, the World Bank ESF, and applicable EHS Guidelines. Provide technical inputs for the preparation, review, and updating of relevant ESIA, ESMP, LMP, and other safeguard documents. 2. Procurement and Contractual Requirements Review ToRs, bidding documents, and contracts to ensure adequate OHS requirements, responsibilities, resources, and reporting provisions. Review contractors' OHS plans, method statements, and safety procedures before commencement of works. 3. Site Monitoring and Safety Supervision Conduct regular site inspections to monitor OHS performance and compliance of contractors and supervision consultants. Identify unsafe conditions and practices and recommend corrective measures. Monitor the provision and proper use of PPE, first-aid facilities, fire safety arrangements, safe equipment operation, housekeeping, and other necessary safety measures. Monitor workers' O
